P0420 - P1420 catalyst error light problem
If you have the engine light on because you have removed the catalytic converter or it is old or damaged, the fault light will certainly come on due to inefficiency of the catalytic converter located on the exhaust, but this problem could be solved with our mini catalytic converter.
The problem is certainly linked to an inefficiency of the lambda sensor or the catalyst, which after several attempts to verify that the carburetion remains within the target values set by the parent company, not seeing them respected within the allowed time causes the warning light to come on.
For the solution of removing the warning light, the most drastic way is to replace both the catalytic converter and the lambda probes at a very high cost.
Our suggested solution instead is to install one of our Minikat, which is nothing more than a small catalyst and allows you to try to turn off and resolve this error as it increases the catalyst precisely in the vicinity of the person measuring it, i.e. the lambda probe sensor.
It must be added that for vehicles also powered by gas, such as Fiat Punto 188 Panda etc. this Minikat of ours is truly a hand from heaven, as in our tests it allowed 90% to definitively turn off the catalyst efficiency error with gas operation where usually this error is easier to appear, thanks to our indications and suggestions included in the package for definitive restoration.
