APS stop module prevents turbo overpressure failure in adjustable voltage volts

€99.00

The FERMO APS module allows you to deceive the original control unit by hiding the real maximum TURBO pressure or any pressure peaks, which form in the intake duct and which consequently generate the annoying power cut and consequent warning light with engine failure due to exceeded overpressure, so with this module it is possible to avoid this.

  • Aps stationary module used in turbo or volumetric preparations to increase turbo pressure without the control unit noticing or to be used when converting a car into a turbo.
  • The APS lock is also very useful in the conversion of naturally aspirated engines into turbocharged ones and is adjustable in tension via a precision screw on the back of the module and allows the pressure to be blocked without the control unit noticing at a pre-set pressure level in a range from 0 to 5 volts.
  • The operation of this module is different from others on the market, but it is exactly what tuners are looking for, as this module does not proportionally lower the voltage read at the input (voltage divider), but rather leaves it exactly unchanged until it exceeds a certain value desired by us, to stop it at that value in case of exceeding. Therefore it will be possible to maintain the same normal operating values of the original aps pressure sensor up to the moment before the pressure cut.
  • Complete with connector and relative wiring with very easy installation instructions.
  • The installation is really simple: the module has 4 wires, two are used to power it (ground and 12v power supply) and one wire is the pressure sensor signal and the other wire is the output to the control unit, SO JUST CONNECT IT TO ANY power supply in the car (under the dashboard) you interrupt the wire that carries the signal to the control unit and connect the other two free wires and that's it.
  • It is also used in turbo conversions where installation is mandatory as the control unit shows you the error of sensor A
  • ps. However, it is necessary that the original sensor works correctly and is not faulty.
  • This aps stop is also used especially on turbodiesel engines , on turbocharged petrol or volumetric engines, where due to a mapping you incur a turbo overpressure failure. This module avoids buying a new sensor with a wider scale, if you want to eliminate the error because the real pressure is slightly higher than that written in the control unit even for a few seconds, this is the module for you.
  • Typical installations of this Aps stop module are on Subaru Impreza 1996-2001, Mini Cooper volumetric, Mercedes Kompressor, Land Cruiser, Punto Fire transformed turbo etc.. so that it is possible to be able to drive without engine failure warning light or free of pressure on both petrol engines and on old and latest generation turbodiesel engines.
  • The aps stop module can stop any signal starting from 0.9 volts up to and above 5 volts! depending on the input signal.
