The instrument also provides a correctly linearized 0-5v output signal, to be used with acquisition systems, control units or dashboards.
  • Preloaded options are included for Xona and BorgWarner intake impeller sizes with impeller speed limits defined by turbocharger performance island maps , thus changing the number of blades, with the ability to define the speed limits of any turbocharger.
  • The instrument also has an optional output that allows it to be connected to a contact to warn the driver when the rpm limit is exceeded so it is possible to connect a light or a buzzer acoustic warning to be thus alarmed.
  • The tool is designed to flash the display when the defined wheel speed limit is reached and also includes an output signal to trigger an external warning or control device.
  • There is an optional 0-5 volt analog input to display in the same pressure gauge so it is possible to configure any sensor making it become a pressure gauge to also read another parameter. Therefore, by connecting one of our ProtoXide pressure sensors it will also be possible to use it as a turbo pressure gauge in the usual display with signal and full scale that can be linearized to your liking.
