The peculiarity is due to the fact that the manifold was made in two separate pieces, a first part of the manifold 4-2-1 and the other part is formed by a curved tube to arrive in the original position, where desired, for those who wish you can insert a catalyst by cutting and welding your catalyst into this tube.
The manifold is an original spare, there is nothing to weld to install it.
The connection for both lambda probes is already welded.
It can be installed on all Mini Cooper models (Mini One, Mini Cooper, Cooper S) and is complete with a pipe to eliminate the standard catalytic converter with relative bolts and joint that avoids the flexible or buy the catalyzed model.
To avoid the ignition of the engine warning light in the case of purchase without a catalyst, it is possible to choose in the options to purchase also with the minikat or to disable the DTC from the control unit.
Photo shown does not correspond to the actual manufacture but rather to a collector of 10 years ago.
This prevents minikat indicator lights up "engine failure" when the exhaust system is deprived of catalytic avoiding making any changes to the electrical system of the car
