Lightweight single-mass flywheel kit with reinforced clutch with COPPER plates, can be installed on all Ford Fiesta ST 1500 12v Turbo 200hp versions with Ecoboost engine.

  • By now everyone is aware of the breakage problems with this original flywheel-clutch assembly when the standard horsepower is increased (even just by reprogramming the control unit). All the other solutions that suggest an increase of 15% are telling us that it is not possible to reinforce the original pressure plate therefore I suggest the 15% only exclusively to the friction material used. We have created a complete application, from the development of a new sintered copper disc, together with a single-mass flywheel in lightened steel and not a dual-mass flywheel in cast iron, together with a Motorsport Pressure Plate, all components made and designed from scratch within the department technical ProtoXide, all components that have nothing to do with the previously indicated solution.
  • Flywheel in special lightweight single-mass steel with a weight of just over 11 kg, made to house our clutch disc.
  • Clutch disc with shock absorber springs to absorb the vibrations of 3-cylinder engines like this one, we have also increased the friction surface and at the same time created 8 COPPER plates per side for this unique application, to thus have better stability.
  • Reinforced pressure plate completely different from the original model and without wear recovery with treatment on the clutch pressure plate plate.
  • This single mass kit made exclusively by Protoxide and can withstand a torque of over 59KGM with this disc of ours with 8 copper plates per side.
  • It is necessary to purchase the original thrust bearing separately from Ford or a spare parts dealer.
  • The crown for the starter motor is not included but you can send us the original flywheel, before or after purchase we will take care of removing it as it is necessary to remove it by removing material) for installation on the new ProtoXide single mass flywheel.
  • Protoxide assumes no responsibility for any vibrations that may be created in the normal operation and use of the engine, due to the removal of the original dual-mass flywheel, as our products are indicated only for racing vehicles where the only prerogative are the greater performances at the expense of everything else, noise, comfort and durability (especially when an application involves the use of copper material).
