  • By now all the problems of breakage with this original flywheel-clutch assembly are known when the stock horsepower is increased (even if only through ECU reprogramming).

The kit features:

  • Flywheel in lightened mono-mass special steel weighing just a little over 11 kg, designed to house our clutch disc.
  • Clutch disc with flexible coupling springs to absorb the vibrations of 3-cylinder engines like this one, we have also increased the surface and at the same time created for this unique application A SPECIAL COMPOUND WITH COPPER BRAIDS INSERTED INSIDE THE FERODO COMPOUND, to have a very long life much higher than a disc with copper plates. We have also always inserted an additional progression spring in the disc to try to further facilitate the detachment and refitting of the clutch unit.
  • Reinforced pressure plate completely different from the original model and without wear recovery with treatment on the clutch pressure plate plate.
  • This single-mass kit made by Protoxide and can withstand a torque up to 59KGM with brake lining!
  • On request it is possible to replace the disc with another disc completely in copper for superior performance but with shorter duration at a higher cost.
  • Original thrust bearing must be purchased separately from Ford or from a spare part dealer.
  • The crown for the starter motor is not included but you can send us the original flywheel, before or after the purchase we will take care of removing it as it is necessary to remove it by removing material) for installation on the new ProtoXide single-mass flywheel.
